From a flight of stairs [17 steps] you directly access the Open Space [Kitchen-Living Area] with a balcony overlooking one of the typical streets of the historic center with the possibility of parking on the same street or in the nearby squares.
In the Living Area and in the Bathroom there is heating; by law the radiators are turned on from December 1st to March 15th and set to a temperature that does not exceed 22°C/72°F
The kitchen [€2 per day] is equipped with everything you need.
From the living area you can access the 2 bedrooms with sea view.
In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) the 'Casuzza' has adopted extra safety and hygiene measures.
The non-smoking double bedroom, with a non-divisible King size bed, memory foam mattress and pillows, with hypoallergenic, fresh and anti-mite mattress cover, has a large balcony from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the roofs of the city and the entire Valley of the Temples that slopes down to the sea. It is air-conditioned, equipped with a 39" flat-screen TV, desk, armchair, clothes hanger, mosquito net and disposable slippers.
The other non-smoking double bedroom with French window overlooking the sea is also air-conditioned, equipped with a 32" flat-screen TV, armchair with table, clothes hanger, mosquito net and disposable slippers.
In the 2 rooms the air conditioners are heat pumps and therefore are able to combine the cooling and heating function.
Upon request and free of charge, iron and ironing board are provided.

There is n°1 Bathroom for the exclusive use of our guests and equipped with a large shower [Shower tray: 140 * 90], make-up area, shower cap, bidet, hairdryer and essentials.

GUEST ACCESS: the reservation for two people includes the use of only one bedroom of your choice, while the EXCLUSIVE USE of the remaining part of the Casuzza is available. To use both bedrooms you must book for 3 people.
It is important to know that you will never share the apartment with other guests!
On the day of check-in, a pre-authorization will be required that will block the amount of € 99 on your credit card and will be automatically unblocked within 7 days of check-out, after a check of the condition of the accommodation.
Other things to keep in mind: The Casuzza di Girgenti is located in a hilly area, in the heart of the Historic Center of Agrigento which has a typically Arab urban structure among the most authentic and best preserved in Sicily; so it is a place that I recommend to those who are fascinated by the typical narrow alleys, the courtyards, the many up and down stairs [not recommended for those with walking difficulties] and numerous and lively squares where you can breathe a return to the past, to the genuine.
Upon arrival, the Identity Card or Passport of all guests (including minors) will be required for registration in accordance with the law.
Only registered guests are allowed in the rooms of the Casuzza.
At Check-in, you will be asked to pay the tourist tax in cash: €1.00 per day and per person (for the first 4 days).
Children up to the age of fourteen are exempt.
There is no daily cleaning service, but you will find the necessary cleaning supplies in the apartment.
For stays longer than a week, the entire apartment will be cleaned, with change of sheets and towels, in agreement with the guest and free of charge.
There is no washing machine.
It is not possible to issue an invoice.
We expect our guests to return the Casuzza in the same conditions in which they found it. Thank you!
